033 – Others

The power of thought stems not just from internal interactions within one’s brain, but also in conjunction with the stimuli that the person is exposed to in the outside world.  Those people you interact with and therefore your community is just as important to cultivate as is your own beliefs.

Your thoughts stem not as sole practitioner in a vacuum, but rather through the interconnectedness with the rest of the world.

This connection rests not just in the realm of thoughts, but also in energy.  Thoughts stem from energy…thoughts are energy, and as such, our exposure to these different energy levels impact us greatly.

When cultivated nicely, the community you surround yourself with can spiral things up or down (motivate or demotivate, evolve your thoughts or dampen them).  In the case of the prestigious institutions, it is not so much the teachers but the other students that provide the significant x-factor in obtaining a valuable education.

On the flip-side, others–especially one’s friends–can be a detriment to any pro-activity, any attempt to spiral up.

This can culminate into a society that is riddled with pessimistic views and taking many things for granted–spiraling downward.

Only when you can remove yourself from that pull of friends’ and society’s downward mindsets can you realize and see…authentically see–the beauty in the world.

As though for the first time, you put on a set of prescription glasses and see the splendor in a whole new light.  It is at that moment, that you begin to spiral upwards.

And from that point, from that moment of spiraling upwards, stems a frame of mind that is predicated on the advancement of society–of collaboration.

But even in situations seeming of competition, each enemy challenges and elevates the other’s ability.

And that challenge helps create circumstances to excel.  And in those moments, the impossible can be obtained.  And that attainment is for all of mankind to leverage and evolve from.

So, do you have a community that helps you spiral up?
