Fridays are a special day in society. For many working the 9-5, 40 hour work weeks, it represents the transition from work to play. From corporate concerns to personal ones.
Fridays bring with it the promise of an amazing weekend. An end to the work, the jubilation of what lies beyond, what the next 60+ hours can become.
From relaxing at home regaining energy to adventuring out there exploring the unknown.
Fridays turn a “sick day” into an extended weekend vacation. It turns a hard week’s work into a paycheck of possibilities.
Take advantage of it.
Go someplace new: be it a new restaurant, new adventure, new book.
And it is in these moments of excitement, of anticipating the countless possibilities that add to the lure and energetic appeal to this day.
And it is the perfect time to realize: Gratitude is Present.
For me, so much was opened in my life through this practice. I set out to create a daily habit of practicing gratitude. 365 continuous days I documented this journey by finding and sharing one awesome video at a time.
And so on Fridays, I will share with you some of my favorite videos that resonated with me through this journey, and new ones that come my way.
I can’t wait for you to join me on this initiative.
Perhaps the best way to begin, is to share the end:
P.S. If you find something equally as awesome, please send it my way! I just might feature it.
